

Our Vision
The Michigan African American Fellowship, SBC envisions a Baptist State Convention of Michigan that fully reveals the unity of the body of Christ and that celebrates our diversity while carrying out the Great Commission.


Our Objectives

To encourage and maintain a spirit of fellowship and cooperation among Michigan African American churches.

To help the SBC and BSCM obtain a better understanding of the African American church.

To encourage Michigan African American churches to participate in, and support the programs and ministries of the SBC and National African American Fellowship SBC objectives.

To advise the BSCM as they seek to start, strengthen, and involve Michigan African American churches in missions.

To promote the appointment of African Americans to the Board of Trustees in each of the following entities; NAMB, IMB, Lifeway, WMU and GuideStone


A life and vision to glorify God
DETROIT – On December 4, 2023, Pastor Rochelle Davis, Jr. had completed his earthly assignment and was welcomed into the heavenly kingdom.
On December 16th, 2023, his beloved Temple of Faith Baptist Church inDetroit hosted a beautiful home-going service of celebration and repast for Dr. Rochelle Davis, Jr.
